The role
What you will be responsible for.
- Authorize startup, transfer, steady operation, and warmup activities.
- Lead abnormal-response actions and coordinate with campus utilities.
- Maintain shift logs, turnover, and operator qualification records.
Required qualifications
- Eight years in cryogenic, industrial-gas, LNG, or comparable process operations.
- Three years as a lead operator or supervisor.
- Ability to qualify for respiratory protection and emergency response.
Preferred experience
- Helium refrigerator experience.
- Control-room commissioning background.
Operating conditions
Twelve-hour rotating shifts including nights and holidays.
Shift transfer is incomplete until both crews agree on the current equipment state.
