Institutional procedures

Compliance & Safety

Consistent conditions. Complete records. Assigned responsibility.

Procedure CS-04 / Revision 6

Reference Conditions

Scheduled work is conducted within approved reference conditions. Deviations are recorded using the classification applicable at the time of observation.

Before work begins, personnel verify the assigned environmental and instrument conditions. A change to those conditions requires review through the program’s established procedure. The original baseline remains part of the record.

Procedure CS-11 / Revision 3

Reporting Procedures

Personnel should report changes through their assigned supervisory channel. Independent reclassification may delay reconciliation of the record.

Reports retain the original observation, time reference, and relevant operating conditions. Subsequent assessment is appended to the record. Public notices are issued where a change to ordinary activity is recommended.

Procedure CS-19 / Revision 4

Access Controls

Access is assigned according to program responsibilities and reviewed when those responsibilities change. Authorization applies to the designated system and operating interval.

Personnel use the access procedure issued by their program administrator. Transfer between directorates does not transfer authorization. Reference materials are made available through the channel appropriate to their reporting scope.
