The role
What you will be responsible for.
- Set the experimental roadmap and authorize progression between containment maturity gates.
- Coordinate field, energy, fabrication, and observation teams during integrated trials.
- Maintain the designation protocol used when material and operational continuity disagree.
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree in physics, applied mathematics, or engineering.
- Fifteen years leading high-consequence experimental programs.
- Demonstrated responsibility for stop-work and restart authority.
Preferred experience
- High-field, accelerator, fusion, or pulsed-power leadership.
- Experience with remote-handled test articles.
Operating conditions
After-hours availability during assigned campaigns.
Role carries continuing authority during temporary absence of the officeholder.
