The role
What you will be responsible for.
- Interview technical staff and observe work to produce accurate procedures.
- Maintain revision, approval, and effective-date controls.
- Edit scientific and operational writing for clarity without weakening defined limits.
Required qualifications
- Five years of technical writing in science, engineering, manufacturing, energy, aerospace, or regulated operations.
- Portfolio demonstrating procedural and explanatory work.
- Strong document-structure and revision-control practice.
Preferred experience
- DITA, structured authoring, or content-management systems.
- Human-factors or procedure-validation experience.
Operating conditions
Minimum two campus days per week.
Superseded procedures remain available when the originating interval is still under review.
