The role
What you will be responsible for.
- Define admissible populations, expected distributions, stopping rules, and review thresholds.
- Distinguish unusual individual events from persistent aggregate deviation.
- Advise program leadership without promising or assigning individual outcomes.
Required qualifications
- PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, econometrics, physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Eight years in rare-event, sequential, Bayesian, or population analysis.
- Experience communicating uncertain results to senior decision-makers.
Preferred experience
- Geospatial statistics or survey design.
- Regulated gaming, reliability, epidemiology, or safety analysis.
Operating conditions
Periodic field review of boundary definitions.
Findings are not approved for extrapolation beyond the assigned operating region.
