The role

What you will be responsible for.

  • Define admissible populations, expected distributions, stopping rules, and review thresholds.
  • Distinguish unusual individual events from persistent aggregate deviation.
  • Advise program leadership without promising or assigning individual outcomes.

Required qualifications

  • PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, econometrics, physics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Eight years in rare-event, sequential, Bayesian, or population analysis.
  • Experience communicating uncertain results to senior decision-makers.

Preferred experience

  • Geospatial statistics or survey design.
  • Regulated gaming, reliability, epidemiology, or safety analysis.

Operating conditions

Periodic field review of boundary definitions.

Findings are not approved for extrapolation beyond the assigned operating region.
