The role

What you will be responsible for.

  • Own requirements across mobility, thermal control, atmosphere, power, communications, and rescue.
  • Lead integrated testing in vacuum, neutral buoyancy, and reduced-mobility environments.
  • Convert crew findings into controlled hardware and procedure changes.

Required qualifications

  • Degree in mechanical, aerospace, biomedical, or systems engineering.
  • Five years with pressure systems, life support, human factors, or crewed vehicles.
  • Experience leading verification and hazard closure.

Preferred experience

  • Spacesuit, diving, high-altitude, or hazardous-environment systems.
  • Anthropometry and soft-goods design.

Operating conditions

Pressure, water, and confined-space testing.

Some rescue interfaces are qualified for occupants whose identity cannot be visually confirmed.
